The lightly aged cheese from Arkäse is made from pasteurized cow's milk of Romanian origin.
It is aged for a minimum of 3-4 weeks in special aging foil. Through this technique, the cheese develops a semi-hard, elastic texture. The cheese's taste is mild and light, highlighting the high quality of the milk.
